Friendship Foundation, Inc. (FFI) is a 501(c)(3) charitable corporation which was established in 1984 for the purpose of assisting Restoration Society, Inc. (RSI) in its programmatic efforts; to provide education about behavioral health, behavioral health conditions and substance use conditions; and to advocate for the rights of individuals with these conditions. The Foundation fulfills its mission by raising funds, acquiring real property for the use of RSI, contributing unaffordable equipment, and supporting RSI customer educational opportunities. The Foundation has two subsidiaries: Amity Associates of Buffalo, inc., a nonprofit organization, and Friendship Enterprises, LLC, a for-profit organization.

Amity Associates of Buffalo, Inc.
Is a drug and alcohol free environment for individuals with substance use conditions as well as adults diagnosed with behavioral health conditions who are looking for a place to socialize and a place to live that support personal recovery efforts. Amity Club sponsors recreational and special social events ( ex., dances, topical parties and special holiday celebration). In addition, eight rooms with public amenities are available to rent. Various 12 step programs and support groups (AA, NA,SOS, etc.) meet at Amity Club.
Friendship Enterprises, LLC.
Acquires real property either for fair market rental or for programmatic use by Restoration Society, Inc. It provides a consistent revenue stream for the Foundation to underwrite its operation and fulfillment of its mission. Friendship Enterprises' first acquisition, D'Avolio House, is a four-bedroom home that provides transitional housing for women seeking permanent housing.
