Financial Literacy
Let our experts help you understand finances, teach you how to obtain or clean-up your credit, or set and reach financial goals. We offer classroom and/or one-on-one financial skills training, support, and advocacy. We are aware of several resources to help you improve your financial literacy (knowledge), your overall financial situation, and your opportunity to reach your financial goals. We start where you need us and our services are free to you. They include an assessment of financial literacy needs, check writing, balancing a checkbook, becoming your own payee, credit clean-up, securing a credit card, opening a bank account, budgeting, financial goal planning and identifying and applying for financial resources, tax rebates, government grants, home ownership programs, and many more.
