Senior Recovery Coach
Clubhouse Buffalo is a unique program, one of several across NYS providing life coaching and recovery services to young adults (16-23yrs) who have or are at risk of substance abuse. A clubhouse is an empowering, self-governed environment; providing recovery focused, evidence-based practices for youth struggling with addictions. Clubhouse Buffalo creates a sense of community in a non-clinical program setting.

AVAILABLE POSITION: This is a management level position responsible for ongoing program development, operations, management, and marketing; staff and intern selection and supervision; develops and reports program deliverables/outcomes; serves on the Agency Management team and chairs the Clubhouse’s Advisory Council. The Manager/Senior Recovery Coach serves as a liaison between the Youth Clubhouse, the addiction treatment system, the behavioral health system, and the customer’s community, family and social context to facilitate connections across the system of care.
QUALIFICATIONS: An individual in recovery from alcohol, other drugs, or other addictions; AND, a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in social work, psychology, OT or appropriate discipline plus 2 years’ experience working with youth with substance use disorder diagnoses, one of which is staff supervision and/or program management; OR CASAC with 2 years of experience working with youth with substance use disorder diagnoses, one of which is in staff supervision and/or program management. Strong organizations skills, demonstrated ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; able to work independently. Must be cleared by NYS Justice Center background check.
37.50 hrs/wk - typically weekdays but may include some evenings and weekend hours, with on call availability.
