Executive Management Position: Financial Controller- Full Time/Exempt Position.

SUMMARY: Restoration Society, Inc. is seeking a Controller to join the RSI Executive

AVAILABLE POSITION: The Controller is a key member of the executive management team
and serves to inform leadership and help drive financial decisions and implement changes. The
Controller is responsible for the day-to-day fiscal operations of the agency, including preparation
of annual agency budget, overseeing cash flow and budget projections, and tracking operational
metrics and risk management. Responsible for the day-to-day operations of the business office,
oversees finance staff. Interacts/reports to Board of Directors/Finance Committee on the
financial standing of the Agency. Works directly with funders and external stakeholders and
prepares and manages vouchers and invoices for contracted services. Prepares and manages
budgets for grant applications. Oversees all bank transactions and accounts in collaboration with
the CEO. Oversees and coordinates annual independent audit, tax filings and Single Audit OMB
A-133. Prepares and files annual NYS Certified Fiscal Report for OMH/OASAS funded
programs. Manages some HR/wage related claims and filings. Compensation commensurate with
skills and experiences.
QUALIFICATIONS: BS Degree Accounting/Finance (MBA preferred); 5 years of experience
in non-profit accounting (preferred), deficit funding and NYS CFR filing; Ability to maneuver
across multiple programs efficiently; Understanding of public grant funding systems and GAAP.
Possess strong organizational, interpersonal and communication skills. Attention to detail and
multi-tasking ability. Able to engage with staff at all levels of the organization and exercise
sound judgement. A working knowledge of non-profit organizations with a genuine interest in
the mission of Restoration Society, Inc. is a plus.
